In 1933, the late R. Yosef Hershkovitz began to practice wood engraving.
Mezuzahs, etrog boxes, tobacco boxes, perfume boxes, scroll cases were some of the products he created in those days.
Over the years he has focused on producing life trees for Torah scrolls with the understanding that they especially need strength and stability in order to be able to carry a heavy weight and function properly in daily use.
Over time, his sons also began to engage in the field of adding improvements, diversifying, refining and adding new models mainly in the field of money integration.
Today, the third generation continues the family tradition.
